Im back for more. We flew in to Vegas, drove through Death Valley, and stayed at Bishop the night before starting. This year I joined back up to the JMT by hiking up the Piute Pass trail (which was an amazing trail to hike). I started towards the end of July, with Snow and water levels still very High. I was able to hike 85 miles over 7 days before my knees got the best of me and safety outweighed going on. Im not afraid to say, under these conditions, this was definitely the hardest hiking I've ever done. ** on a side note, the brackets i generally attach my camera to broke on the flight over, therefore my camera stability is much worse than i hoped for.
