In this video, I do an unboxing, assembly, and review of the Harbor Freight Mobile Tool Base.

The initial opening of the box gave an intimidating feeling due to the number of parts included. However, after spreading everything out and viewing the pictures within the manual, things didn't look so bad.

The assembly instructions did leave a lot to the imagination since the exploded diagrams included were confusing and the part numbers were extremely small and difficult to read.

The device went together easily and appears to be a very solid and strong. You do have to supply your own 1.25" x 1.25" stretchers between the corner brackets. You could probably cut down and use 2 x 4 lumber for this if you are using this base for a lightweight power tool. However, for anything extremely large or heavy, it's probably best to use hardwood as recommended within the user manual. I ended up purchasing staircase balusters that were exactly the correct size for this.

My overall opinion for this item is a thumbs-up.
