Car troubles are inevitable and driving as frequently as I do means they pop up sooner rather than later. I keep my calendar pretty flexible in order to rearrange any existing reservations to allow for unplanned issues to be dealt with.

The drive through Louisiana was beautiful. The lush greenery is such a big contrast to the desert and mountain landscapes I'm used to. Watch for the Louisiana state tree in it's swampy element!
