I got my Covid vaccine woo hoo! Look immunisation is a very personal topic and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is my story and my positive vaccine experience. So I'm classed as Extremely Clinically Vulnerable and have had to shield for both waves of the pandemic meaning i have been locked in the house essentially since feb 20 apart from the autumn. I had Covid Pneumonia last march and considering my condition I'm very lucky to be here. Im still suffering from the effects of long Covid so anything i can do to avoid getting infected again I'm doing it. Both myself and Mike had the Oxford AstraZeneca jab. I had a sore arm and felt flu like symptoms for the first 48 hours then i was fine. So far so good! But as i say its a personal choice this was what was right for me. Please always take appropriate medical advice re the vaccine. I can't wait to get outside and see friends and family again and just hug everyone!!!! Thank you to our amazing NHS and all the scientists and research teams that made this possible you are all amazing and what this means to me i could never explain x Dani
