But that's exactly what the Swedish automaker is aiming to change, with electric vehicles at the center of their strategy. To solidify this plan, Martin Persson, Asia Pacific Region Head for Volvo, is currently in India. Geely Auto-owned Swedish manufacturer Volvo enjoys approximately 22% market share of the luxury EV segment in India and now plans to further solidify that lead with a new EV launch every year. The company is committed to going fully electric by 2030, and Martin also believes the current slowdown in EV sales is temporary.
