Today we are going on to discover the Shinjuku Tori-no-ichi Matsuri in Shinjuku, in Tokyo, Japan. It is an annual traditional festival held at Hanazono Shrine on three separate days in November to wish for good luck and prosperity in business. The shrine is decorated with 950 LED lanterns and stalls selling decorative kumade bamboo rakes.
The festival obviously includes many traditional Japanese street food stalls.
Today we are going to focus on the making of the delicious Osaka speciality Okonomiyaki, grilled octopus balls.
