We went to the zoo in 2007 to tape the animals. I got bored with them and went to filming the 15" gauge zoo train, which I wanted to do anyway. They were running the Sandley built, pacific class steam locomotive #1924 with Ken Ristow at the throttle. Got to love those scale operating crossing gates at all four grade crossings, made by Darrell Klompmaker and his crew.
