Installation of a 0.1µF capacitor for 275V voltage in parallel to the terminal block in the lamp (L and N) or in the electric box to the illuminated switch will cause that any problems with flashing or glowing of energy-saving fluorescent lamps or LED bulbs will be eliminated immediately.

The method is very simple, but you must disconnect the power supply in the lighting electrical circuit before proceeding with installation.

The use of energy-saving lamps or LEDs with the simultaneous use of switches with backlight, often causes the appearance of flares, where the fluorescent lamp starts to flash. To eliminate this adverse effect, use this capacitor, which also contributes to the extension of the life of the light source. The capacitor is connected in parallel to the lighting connector terminal block.

Alternatively, you can remove the backlight from the illuminated switch.
