It took one year to make this video. I filmed the outside and on the roof after they closed up and vacated the building. When you look through the front door you can see how pristine the inside really was compared to the decay a year later.
I saw a bucket loader out front the other day and a lot of rubble out front so I knew I had to get inside that night.
I can't believe how destroyed it was after only one year. This is what happens when you ignore roof leaks.
This building looked beautiful from the outside and I always admired it when I drove by. I'm not sure of the age of the building but it has skeleton key locks and wainscoting in all the rooms.
I loved the huge walk-in safe on the first floor and there were a lot of older office chairs and wood desks.
There were conference rooms upstairs that were completely wood paneled and had beautiful wood pocket doors.
The two lamps and two leather chairs upstairs might have a little bit of my drool on them now. If I ever wanted to take anything it would have been those, but no - I didn't take them and they will unfortunately end up in a landfill. At least I can look at them with this video.
I guess I can tell you that the building is in Naugatuck, Connecticut if you couldn't figure it out by the roof view.
It doesn't matter if I tell you where it is because the building is not there anymore. It's demolished.
There are a lot of really beautiful locations that just get abandoned and torn down and disappear forever. That's why I do what I do.
I hope you enjoy the video. Please subscribe if you haven't already. Thank You if you are a subscriber. Take Care...
