Day 6 ride began in Sarchu, nestled at a height of 14,070 ft. Unfortunately, our day took an unexpected turn when we encountered a puncture. With the help of some fellow travelers, we managed to repair the tire using a spare wire. However, our troubles weren't over. Just two kilometers down the road, the tire went flat again.

Finding ourselves stranded in the middle of nowhere, we once again had to tackle the task of repairing the tire. Thankfully, we managed to fix it. We received word that a new tire could be found in Pang, which was a daunting 100 kilometers away.

The road ahead was challenging, consisting of off-road terrain. We navigated through the treacherous Ghata Loops and conquered Nakee La, a mountain pass at a staggering altitude of 15,547 meters. After crossing Whiskey Nala, we embarked on the ascent to Lachungla Pass, reaching a height of 16,598 meters.

The journey was not without its rewards. We were treated to breathtaking views of desert-like mountains, making the off-road experience truly unforgettable. Upon reaching Pang, we discovered a Royal Enfield service van. Unfortunately, they didn't have the necessary tire, forcing us to make the long journey to Leh, 175 kilometers away, to find a replacement.
