Today, we delve into the remarkable story of Ruth and her steadfast
loyalty to Naomi, a story that exemplifies commitment and faithfulness.
In the book of Ruth, we encounter a beautiful story of devotion and love.

After the death of her husband, Ruth faced a crossroads: she could return to her own family and start anew, or she could stay with Naomi, her mother-in-law, who was left alone and destitute. Ruth chose the path of loyalty, declaring, “Where you go, I will go; and where you stay, I will stay” (Ruth 1:16).

Ruth’s decision to stay with Naomi wasn’t just about physical presence; it was a profound expression of her love, faith, and commitment. She embraced Naomi’s people, her land, and her God. In her loyalty, Ruth not only supported Naomi but also set the stage for her own remarkable future, including becoming the great-grandmother of King David and an ancestor of Jesus.
