Someone recently commissioned me to build a sitting bench to place in their home's entrance and and wanted it to match another piece of wood decor they had with some charred areas on it from fire. I suggested a fake live-edge bench with a torch to be used on the edges so it looked nice and also matched the hue and burned areas of the piece it was to match with.

It was an interesting build and the final result came out great! I hope you enjoy the video.
