In this video we are tasked with reducing a rather large beech tree as the homeowner is concerned about the wind blowing them over. We chose it best to do an all over reduction of around 30% to ensure the trees less likely to catch as much wind. All chip was taken for biomass and the customer kept the logs for burning. It is definitely a skill to b e able to reduce trees well to maintain a aestheically pleasing shape. One thing I would have reconsidered is the final top taken as it ripped out a branch underneath I should have gone a bit higher and taken it in smaller pieces to avoid what happened. Luckily it didn't affect the end result too much and the tree still looked nice in the end. Thankyou for watching please like, comment and subscribe for more.
