Goal Attacks need to be able to work the circle; especially when working with a holding goal shooter. This means that they need to be quick and agile, be able to let go of the ball at speed and always be aware of the space they can use.

This session is all about giving and going and then turning to shoot. Make sure to complete each exercise at match speed as this will help replicate the fatigue of the game!

Complete each movement x 10 and repeat x 2

Movement 1 - Give and Go
Make sure your movements are quick and that you breathe before the shot

Movement 2 - Base line drive into give and go
Keep your eyes up and be aware of your space as you drive into the circle. Want to make it harder? Add a defender?

Movement 3 - Base line drive to post ball
Think about how you can get around the defender on the second move before going to post. Use a bin or chair to replicate the defender if you don't have an extra player.

Movement 4 - Baseline drive and reaction to feeder
React to space here. You could make it harder by adding defenders or obstacles in the circle to move around too.
