Welcome to the long-awaited 2nd episode of Skytrain's in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Here we see all Expo Line trains at Burrard, New Westminster, Columbia, & finally at Commercial-Broadway with the new platform.

Expo Line:
Skytrain started with the soft opening of the Expo Line in December 1985 & then the grand opening in January 1986 operating from Waterfront-New Westminster station in preparation for the upcoming Expo 86. After Expo 86, Expo Line was extended further into New Westminster to Columbia Station in 1989, then to Scott Road in 1990, and finally added three more stations (Gateway, Surrey Central, & King George) in 1994. As of October 22, 2016 Expo Line now serves Production Way-University for the opening of the Evergreen Extension

Millenium Line:
In 1995, BC Government announced a light rail system along Broadway and Lougheed Highway to Coquitlam Central, but later announced it would be a Skytrain line that will run between Broadway and Lougheed Mall. Known as Rapid Transit 2000 which then became the Millenium Line following completion. The line opened on January 7, 2002 in phases. The first phase was from Waterfront to Braid, the second phase opened in August 31 of the same year from Braid to Commercial Drive to replace the east portion of the 99 B-line that ran from Broadway to Lougheed Mall. Lake City Way Station opened in 2003, and a short extention to VCC-Clark opened on January 6, 2006. As of October 22, 2016, Millenium line no longer goes to Waterfront, but instead goes to Lougheed and then later to Lafarge Lake-Douglas station with the opening of the Evergreen Extension on December 2, 2016. Braid and Sapperton stations now serves the Expo Line.

Canada Line:
A new Skytrain Line running from Vancouver-Richmond & YVR-Airport was announced in 1998 as part of a bid of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Construction started in 2005 with the line referred as the R.A.V line (Richmond-Airport-Vancouver) which then later referred to Canada Line. It opened on August 17, 2009 ahead of the Vancouver 2010 olympics.
