In this video I will show you 'How to use a Blow Torch'.

The first one is a blow pipe blow torch where you use the oxygen from your breath to fuel the flame.

It takes some getting use to, you will have to learn how to circular breathe. Circular breathing is when you breathe in while blowing out at the same time -  sounds hard but it's not. I will show you how in the video.

The blow pipe blow torch is made for jewellers, it's perfect for silver and gold but it does not get hot enough to solder platinum.

The second blow torch is propain and oxygen, Jewellers blow torch is just the tool you need if you don't want to learn to how to circular breathe it does cost a bit more but it gets a lot hotter a lot quicker.

In the video I will tell you what flames are used for making jewellery because you don't want to get your work too hot and need to know how hot to get it for the different solders to run.
