Part of my apprehension about travelling on the Tidal Trent is to do with making the turn from the flowing river into the rather narrow lock at West Stockwith. If you follow the lock keepers advice there really isn't anything to worry about, even though it seems like our fender only misses the lock wall by millimetres.
