Despite being one of the earliest heavy metal bands on American soil, penning some immortal classics known and loved by legions of metal fans, and having one of the most identifiable mascots this side of Eddie, RIOT have never been given their due. They changed lineups, labels, and even their core sound on numerous occasions, but the sonic quality they delivered was always top-notch. And their legacy lives on in RIOT V, who continue to make truly great, pure heavy metal in 2024.
