Exploring Chengdu's Vibrant Street Food Scene 🍢🍲
Join me and my dear friend Bert as we delve into the exciting world of Chengdu's street food! From unique deep-fried pork sausages to sizzling skewers of octopus and delightful rice balls, we have savored the diverse flavors of Chinese cuisine.

At a bustling stall, we indulged in a wide assortment of sausages, each skewered and deep-fried to perfection. The spicy varieties were absolutely amazing, and the chewy octopus, sprinkled with Sichuan pepper, offered a delightful kick of flavor.

Later, we made our way to Jianshe walking street to savor a local favorite – rice ball, a delectable mix of sticky rice, savory sausage, and other flavorful ingredients. The combination of salty egg yolk, bacon bits, and pickled vegetables created a mouthwatering experience.

In the mood for something sweet, we ventured to a mobile bakery to try the corn cake and rice cake, enjoying their soft, spongy textures and delightful sweetness. These traditional sweets are a must-try on the streets of Chengdu.

We savored a unique glutinous cake consisting of potatoes, peppers, and chili. The tantalizing mix of ingredients, including shrimp balls, was skillfully prepared and offered a symphony of flavors and textures.
Last but not least refreshing smoky plum a delightful Chinese beverage combines the unique smokiness of smoked plums with the bright citrusy notes of orange peel zest, creating a refreshing and flavorful drink. We then topped it off with a popular Chinese delicacy, chicken feet which comes in three enticing flavors: lemon sour spicy with chili pepper, offering a bold and invigorating taste; a less spicy, more sour version that emphasizes sharp tanginess with mild heat; and a spicy, less sour variant, focusing on robust spiciness with a hint of sourness for a fiery treat.
