A part of my work, during the last 17 years, has to do with poetry set to music. Napoleon Lapathiotis was the first poet who ignited my focus on this endeavour and the one whose poems appear the most in comparison to others. Elisabeth, furthermore, has a preference in singing music for poems. Her voice captured the spectrum of the song in all its elements, both the dramatic and the lyrical.

“Beyond the horizon” is a music work which combines piano, string pads, celtic harp, acoustic guitar, flute and voices.
It contains three sections in a sequence of musical pieces with minimalistic and film music influences in its musical soundscape.
It is based on the core of the composer’s compositional world and carries out a path of inner exploration and active dialogue with words and voices.
The course of the project leads to the bright extensions of the optimistic, creative breath exuded by our world through its various expressions.
“Beyond the horizon” is dedicated to Ennio Morricone.
