the map tells the story of thrushpelt and his friendship with bluestar. i wanted to try something different by having the entire map take place as if it all happened in one day rather than having it portrayed as if it happened over months or even years. i was inspired by the idea of time flying by and everything feeling like a blur, so i wanted to try to incorporate that into the map itself.

this is the first time i've ever hosted a map, and there will undoubtedly be ups and downs, but i'm so excited to show it to everyone who attends the mapathon this year! i'd like to thank my partner in particular for sticking with me and supporting me throughout this project, as well as melissa for ensuring that i didn't go insane during the process haha. thank you, vampiz, for allowing me to include this map in the project; i've met so many wonderful people through this mapathon project, and it's been wonderful.

thank you to the credit artist kittygirl2210 for doing the frames for the credits; even if they never got featured in the end, i wanted to at least give them credit for being patient and extremely helpful throughout the entire project. i hope you enjoy the project and thank you for your support thus far!!
