Hello, my intrepid travelers!
This wild camp took place in late September 2020. The route was organized by my fellow traveler friend Pete from The Outdoors and Me. This was actually my first time recording any of my mini-adventures. The action camera was attached to my backpack's shoulder strap, giving its POV angle.

The original audio was ruined by a combination of a rubbish built-in microphone and the natural force of the wind! So I apologize if you came here just to hear my crazy ramblings. I have tried to choose a piece of music that is fitting so that you can enjoy "the path less traveled". We head up from the gorgeous village of Llanfihangel y pennant, up through the winding valley until we reach an area suitable for camp, near the crossing of the Minnffordd path. And is where this video finishes concluding in part 2.

I hope you enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cadair Idris National Nature Reserve and its history of creation from volcanic processes and sculpted by glaciers over many Ice ages. It also has a wealth of wildlife and special plants. If you would like more information, check out Natural Resources.Wales website for walking trails, car parking, visitor center timings, and directions.
As always please be respectful of the landscape and wildlife by leaving no trace only fond memories. See you in part 2.

Much Love Dee.
