If you want to show your support: https://buymeacoffee.com/lndcruzin Over the past few years there has been a big surge to the outdoor and adventure community, and because of the pandemic a lot of people started heading and enjoying the outdoors more, remote work has definitely made this even easier to do. Which is awesome the outdoors is amazing and its a nice way to relive stress especially to escape the city.

Here is something that bothers me tho we also see people posting pictures of them living in their 80k vans or "living as nomads" in their fully built 60k + rigs ditching the 9-5.

Now there's absolutely nothing wrong with this and for most people it definitely seems like something very attractive, and don't get me wrong when I was younger all I wanted was a taco with a roof top tent it seemed so cool and awesome. Ditching the day to day tasks of a 9-5 job and just going outdoors and exploring would be a lot of fun.

Here is what I don't like about this, companies see this as a way make more money off you and me and they want to make you believe that unless you buy their product you cant go out and enjoy the outdoors we often see people go into 'debt' to escape the 9-5 only to be strapped even more to their 9-5's.

Buying Kitchen setups and complex drawer systems and 4k rooftop tents. Going into debt for a 4WD vehicle then they spend all their money on modifying it to "go outdoors".

Let me tell you a secret, the outdoors is free you don't need a full kitchen setup or a rooftop tent or a drawer system all you need is gas to drive you there, the outdoors doesn't care if your rig is fully built or if you don't have a drawer system.

I send this with much love and positivity guys don't want to make anyone who has these things to feel bad. All I want to say is you don't have to wait till you have a fully built rig or a $80k to enjoy the outdoors, also if you want to ditch 9-5 you need to spend less money and not spend 4k on a roof top tent get a real tent like the rest of us haha.
