The concert at Red Rock on June 27, 2024, is one that I, and many others, won't soon forget. Comparisons to Diana Ross's historic concert at Central Park in New York City quickly came to mind among the fans who were there. Although the concert was short, it was exciting and dynamic. Diana Ross breezed thru her scheduled setlist but wanted to make sure she gave the audience what they came to Red Rock for. The night was unpredictable and there were times everyone was wondering if the show would continue. So, it must have been a relief when they came to the final song of the evening, "Thank You." Like with the other songs, they didn't rush it. Diana Ross, the band members and singers were real troupers for hanging in there when things could have gotten dangerous. Gerry Brown, Cecil Thomas Jr., John Scarpulla, Michael Seacrest, George Svetich, Michael Deezy, Ben E Rogers, Nat Scott, Frank Caruso, Dave Shults, Fred White, Terelle Tipton, Keesha Gumbs, Valerie Pinkston, Mark Miller, Brad Mason, John Isley, and Everett Pruitt Jr were the force behind the power!!
