On this episode of Street You Grew Up On, Kerry Washington and Lana Condor travel to Double Bluff Road, located on an island 30 miles north of Seattle. Lana spent her formative years there, cultivating her save haven and self-identity. Relocating from the big, windy city of Chicago, to a small, woodsy island, she learned to love the simple things in life like family, nature, and creativity through not having much technology. It was this environment that allowed Lana to dream BIGGER to create her current reality. She highlights one of her major life moments being traveling to her birth country of Vietnam to work alongside Michelle Obama with The Girls Opportunity Alliance. It was that trip that inspired Lana to partner with The Asia Foundation to create a scholarship for Vietnamese girls to receive education.
