I was asked to accompany a friend and her family on a train trip as they wanted to experience the #XtrapolisMega or #NewTrain. I was only too eager. We drove to Kenilworth Station and parked at a lot opposite the station.

The aim was to travel by train to Kalk Bay. Part of the video includes footage on board the train between Retreat and Heathfield Station. I will provide a more detailed video sometime soon regarding the travel experience on the #XtrapolisMega.

Notice the other X'trapolis Mega Set at Heathfield. That came from Cape Town and traveled along the Cape Flats Line to this station, where it terminates. Our train waited for the passengers from that set as it arrived after we had arrived. This was nice to witness although not captured on video.
