The 1985 Homecoming Musical was Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance. The cast included Douglas Schroeder as Frederic, Jane Charlsen as Mabel, Kenneth Woodward as the Pirate King, and Theatre professor Ronald Q. Frederickson as Major-General Stanley. The production was directed by John Stefano, with musical direction by Howard Halgedahl.
