A flash flood warning was in effect for parts of Broward and Miami-Dade counties on Wednesday as storms continued to soak South Florida.

The flash flood warning was in effect until 4:45 p.m. and included Miami Gardens, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood and Miramar, among other areas, the National Weather Service said.
