The Military Aviation Museum flying it's P-40 E Warhawk on October 10, 2020. It was overcast and rainy, so the flight footage suffered. This P-40 was restored by the museum's Fighter Factory and AVSPECS in New Zealand from a wreck recovered in Murmansk, Russia (where it would have been a "Kittyhawk"). Her first flight after restoration was in April of 2003. These planes were built in New York, transported to Persia (Iran) for final assembly, then flown to Russia for use as part of the Lend-Lease program. The restoration displays the livery of "Tex" Hill in the AVG "Flying Tigers".
