As a proud former first responder and member of the U.S. First Responders Association, I had the honor of attending America's First Responders Fest. This event, held on September 7, 2024, at Panton Mill Park along the Fox River in South Elgin IL. paid tribute with 403 American flags to those who made the ultimate sacrifice the during 9/11 attacks.

The festival celebrated veterans, law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency management personnel, showcasing the community's dedication to helping others. Attendees enjoyed a rapid response 5K fun run, a classic car show, live radio broadcasts on WRMN AM-1410, live music, food trucks, market vendors, and impressive displays of law enforcement and fire department vehicles.
