Marc Marquez has officially joined Ducati for the 2025 and 2026 MotoGP seasons.

The eight-time World Champion has signed a two-year contract with the Bologna brand, and starting next season, he will partner with Francesco Bagnaia, the two-time World Champion, to form the most decorated line-up on the grid.

Enea Bastianini is set to join the Tech3 GasGas squad, and Marquez will join the Ducati Lenovo squad in his stead. Jorge Martin of Pramac Ducati, who presently leads the MotoGP riders' standings, was also considered for the position, but he has since committed to Aprilia.
