On Jan. 22, 2022, River Park Church in Calgary hosted a conversation between three Christian Reformed Church (CRC) pastors with three different responses to our denomination’s Human Sexuality Report.

We believe this conversation affords members of the CRC the opportunity to cultivate a posture of humility and reflection; to hear diverse responses to the HSR; to better understand dynamics at play in our denomination; and to inform thoughtful and prayerful responses to the HSR. Most of all, we want to facilitate the kind of discussion that helps us all to hold Christ high as we hear from individuals approaching this topic from diverse perspectives.

The names of the presenters from left to right on the screen are Daryl DeKlerk, East Hill Community Church (Vernon, BC); Peter Rockhold, New Life Fellowship CRC (Red Deer, AB); and John Luth, CRC chaplain, Inner City Transitional Housing Program (Edmonton, AB).
