A short video presentation of the "EU4Environment - Water and Data" programme. This EU-funded programme ensure continuity of two previous EU-funded project for water and environmental data: the EU Water Initiative Plus (EUWI+ 2016-2021) and the Shared Environmental Information System Phase II (ENI SEIS II EAST).

These two projects were instrumental for modernising environmental monitoring 🧪🔬 and data analysis 📊 systems, promote evidence-based policy making ⚖️, and increase the Eastern partner countries’ alignment with EU and international law.

The “EU4Environment - Water and Data” programme is part of the EU4Environment umbrella action. It focuses on two main areas: 💧Water resources, including transboundary rivers, and 📊 Environmental data (water, air, land use, waste). The programme kicked-off in 2022 and will last until June 2024.
