Ustad Salamat Ali Khan's Qawwali singing not only gained popularity among the Sufis and pilgrims of the Dargahs, but Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ghulam Farid Sabri, Manzoor Niazi and other distinguished Qawals and singers were also great fans of Ustad Salamat Ali Khan,His brother Mubarik Ali Khan and his student Sadiq Ali Khan aka Saddu.
