Swapping cityscapes for sweeping panoramas, we traded pavement for peat today, tackling the Garron Plateau hike from Waterfoot to Carnlough. While the heavy ground underfoot initially tested our rusty hiking legs (confession: couches have been calling my name!), conquering that vast, wild expanse reignited our love for the outdoors. ✨

PStunning light danced across the landscape, painting the rolling hills in shades of emerald and ochre. Each crest unveiled breathtaking vistas, the coastline stretching majestically towards the horizon. And let's not forget the reward at the end - Carnlough's charming harbor beckoned with well-deserved refreshments.

So, is the Garron Plateau a daunting challenge? Perhaps, but the sense of accomplishment and the sheer beauty of the journey make it absolutely worth it. Remember, even rusty hikers can rediscover the joy of exploration – all it takes is one step onto the open hillside.
