During the war, when Anofriev was 12 years old, he found a live grenade in the yard. After its explosion, Oleg survived, but the recovery process took a year. The right hand was crippled
Oleg Anofriev managed to enter the Moscow Art Theater School on the first attempt, although due to an injured right hand he had to prove to the commission for a long time that he could both study and perform on stage. In 1954, the artist received a diploma and went to work at the Central Children's Theater. On the stage of the Central Children's Theater, Anofriev was lucky to work side by side with Lev Durov
After 2 years, when he went to work at the Mossovet Theater, where Anofriev was entrusted to play Vasily Terkin in the production of the same name. This role was played in such a way that Anofriyev's acting skills were appreciated even abroad, where the theater went on tour. In Bulgaria, the artist became a national hero. One of the cities of this country - Russa - awarded the Russian artist the title of honorary citizen
But the audience appreciated and remembered the actor when they saw the film "Girl with a Guitar". The picture, where, in addition to Anofriyev, Faina Ranevskaya, Lyudmila Gurchenko and Mikhail Zharov appeared, was remembered, among other things, by songs performed by Anofriyev
Then there was the film "Colleagues" with the song "Deck", the film "Friends and Years" with the song "It was recently, it was a long time ago." Oleg Anofriev called this painting his favorite
In 1972, the actor decided to leave the theater for the cinema. The actor starred in the comedy "Car, Violin and Dog Blot", in the films "Northern Option", "Under the Roofs of Montmartre", "Be My Husband" and the film adaptation of Nikolai Gogol's novel "The Government Inspector" - "Incognito from St. Petersburg"
In the 1980s, viewers saw Anofriev play in the wonderful films “Midshipmen, forward!”, “The Man from Capuchin Boulevard” and “Return to the USSR”
Oleg Anofriev's songs for many feature films, fairy tales, musicals and cartoons brought him immense popularity. For example, in the Bremen Town Musicians beloved by many generations, almost all the songs that immediately turned into hits were sung by Oleg Anofriev
In addition, Anofriev is a performer of the famous songs “I'm lying in the sun”, “Tired toys are sleeping”, “The driver's song” or “What a song without a button accordion”. The artist also gave his own voice to the characters of two dozen fairy tales and sang the title songs of a number of famous television films.
At the same time, songs performed by Anofriyev often became more popular than the television films in which they sounded. For example, this happened with the composition “There is only a moment” from the TV movie “Sannikov Land”
In 2004, Oleg Anofriev was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia
