This meant BMW Motorrad needed to get radical and lift and place the goalpost much further down the road. Enter the BMW R 1300 GS, the latest generation Gelande Strasse. It gets a new higher performing engine, an all-new chassis setup, updated electronics and a whole lot more. With this, BMW claims that the new R 1300 GS will also be the best.
