Traded Horses

I thought life was a track
And I just had to run
So I grabbed a high horse
I wouldn’t be out done

Oh, I kicked with spurs
Dug them in the side
Held tight onto the reins
And I took a wild ride

And then I hit a Branch
Smacked right in the head
I fell off the high horse
And it lay there dead

I cried over my ride

You said, here take this
And You handed me a mule

I was confused at first
Then You helped me see
I needed to slow down
A good dose of humility

If it's good enough for You
It's more than enough for me
I gladly ride the mule
It slows me down to see
