I ordered a new mobility device, the Rollz Motion 2-in-1 Rollator / Wheelchair Combo, in preparation for a family vacation to Disney World in September 2017. The low profile & modern design made this an appealing mobility tool to use at Disney. Unfortunately with my autoimmune illness, I’m unable to stand or walk unassisted for more than ten minutes. Rollz gave me some extra support while walking, as well as a place to sit while waiting in lines for attractions. When I became to too tired to function, it was super easy to convert to wheelchair mode for my hubby to transport me back to our hotel. I highly recommend!

This video was filmed in June of 2017 for my other channel, The Last Supper (hence, the weird opening title). Shortly after filming, our dog Ginger died from cancer. My son includes a tribute to her at the end.

A spoonie can refer to any individual who suffers from a chronic illness. The term originated from a post written by Christine Miserandino entitled The Spoon Theory, which uses a spoon as a measure of energy.
