I could not resist the call of the forest and went with my girlfriend Leila and her brother Aresh in search of some porcini from the woods that, until a week ago, were still completely soaked with water.

For most of the ascent the mountain was stingy, but toward the summit we found a few nice summer porcini, also of good size that, probably accomplice to the cold weather, were preserved from insects.

The season seems to be off to a slow start, but if you look in the right hot spots, the ones that warm up first, then the chances of finding important mushrooms increases considerably.
