FILM SYNOPSIS:

Babu, a criminal, changes his ways when he finds a baby who survived a train 🚆 crash and raises him as his own. However, things take a turn when his criminal past catchs up to him.

Jaanwar (transl. 'Animal') is an Indian Hindi-language action film directed and produced by Suneel Darshan,[1] released on 24 December 1999. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Karisma Kapoor, and Shilpa Shetty in pivotal roles. The story involves about Badshah (Akshay Kumar), a criminal, changes his ways when he finds a baby who survived a train crash and raises him as his own being Babu Lohar(Black Smith). However, things take a turn when his criminal past catches up to him; The film was released on 24 December 1999. Although it received mixed reviews from critics but was a commercial success becoming 13th highest grosser Hindi film of the year. The film was major hit in North states of India.
