For the past few years, emerging photographer Gonçalo Fonseca has been producing his long term project “New Lisbon”, award-winning documentation of the deep housing crisis grappling the Portuguese Capital. In this session, he will present the photographs distinguished with the Leica Oskar Barnak Newcomer 2020 and the stories of the inhabitants of the city in Europe where it is hardest for people to pay for rent.
