The forces that reshaped the Supreme Court are quietly fomenting a revolution in the state courts. "We Don't Talk About Leonard" is a three-part investigative series from On the Media and ‪@ProPublica‬ that explores how one man built a money, influence and power machine to fuel a conservative takeover of America’s courts.

In the first episode, Andrea Bernstein, Andy Kroll and Ilya Marritz investigate the background of the man who has played a critical role in the conservative takeover of America's courts — Leonard Leo. The episode takes us from Leo's humble roots in middle-class New Jersey, to a mansion in Maine where last year he hosted a fabulous party on the eve of the Supreme Court decision to tank “Roe.”
