San Gorgonio Mountain, also known locally as Mount San Gorgonio, or Old Greyback, is the highest peak in Southern California at 11,503 feet, in the San Bernardino Mountains. We were lucky enough to encounter a few deer on the way up. While the rest of our group continued hiking a few of us stayed behind and waited for the deer to come back out from hiding. Here is a short glimpse of our interaction.
