What is Tottan Byoshi? Noh rhythms are frequently used for historical plays. Without knowing the basics of Noh rhythm, it is not possible to fully understand kabuki Hayashi, especially the music used for historical stories. As the last video of Historical plays, the mystery of Noh rhythm is investigated. Due to the lack of time, it has not yet organized well enough but this video is one of the doorways to the Noh rhythm within Kabuki Bayashi.

トッタン拍子とは？歌舞伎時代物の音に関係のある音をお囃子CDから適当に選んで並べた６項目の最後にやっぱりトッタン拍子を説明しないと時代物作品は始まらないと、最後に取り上げたのが「序の舞」。
その中で「甲三地」と「ツヅケ控」だけ頑張ってみましょうというのが今回の狙い。でも実はトッタン拍子って、殆どこの二つの手組で始まっちゃうから、まあ、「序の舞」じゃなきゃならない理由はないけれど、「序の舞」を元にトッタン拍子を紐解くといった方が正しいかもしれません。ただですら、お囃子は突然この世の音楽から遊離した世界。そこでトッタン拍子に直面した時に一度谷底に突き落とされます。でもお囃子の原点がそこにあるので無視した途端から落ちこぼれ。そこで谷底から這い上がり、初めて連獅子の子供のように一人前になります。さて、親獅子と一緒に髪を振れる日がいつくるか。まずこの敷居をまたいでみましょう。
