Often we are told that we must look at divisional charts while we are making predictions. This is because combining all the divisional charts helps us in confirming events that we identify in the D1 or the Rasi chart.

If we identify a combination in the D1 chart, however the same thing does not repeat in the D9 chart then the likelihood of that event happening decreases and hence it is important to ensure that if we have identified an event in the Rasi chart, we must verify the same in Divisional charts to ensure that the combinations are repeating.
