▼About the Urayasu Sansha Festival
The Urayasu Sansha Annual Festival, held once every four years, is said to have its roots in the autumn festivals that were held in Nekozane Village, Horie Village, and Todaijima at the time. The sight of over 100 mikoshi and floats, including five shrine mikoshi (portable shrines) - two at Kiyotaki Shrine (Horie), two at Toyouke Shrine (Nekomi), and one at Inari Shrine (Todaijima) - as well as mikoshi from local community associations, parading through Motomachi is truly impressive.
