Here's my review of the Celestron "StarSense Explorer" Dobsonian telescope. This model is the latest entry in Celestron's line of "StarSense" telescopes, which previously included smaller types of refractor and reflector telescopes... well now they're making the big ones, 8" and 10" Newtonian reflector telescopes on Dobsonian bases. This new technology uses an app on your phone to guide your way. Your phone has a camera, and it uses this to know where your telescope is pointing. It's entirely possible that in the future, this kind of technology will be the future in how people navigate their way around the sky at night.
