🔺Why wouldn't you survive a perfect loop? And why isn't a perfectly round loop the best shape? In this episode, we explore two types of roller coaster loops: a perfectly round loop and a non-perfectly round loop (teardrop-shaped). Blue Fire at Europa Park features an enormous 32-meter-high teardrop-shaped loop! We kick off Blue Fire at Europa Park and measure the forces in the loop. Then, we compare this loop with another very special perfectly round loop at Europa Park... the loop in the FoodLoop restaurant! Here, too, we measure the g-forces in the loop and draw some very interesting conclusions! Would you survive such a loop, and how many g-forces does your hamburger actually experience before reaching your table?
