The city of 's-Hertogenbosch has become a center of industry, education, administration and culture. It is currently the fourth city of North Brabant. The city is south of the Maas river and near the Waal.
The city has its own food speciality, the Bossche Bol — a puff which is filled with whipped cream and coated with chocolate.
There are also over 350 restaurants, pubs and cafés to be found in the city.
